All that work you did...what was it for?

You're another cog in the wheel. Another overused and beaten down cog.

Escape is your only option, but you only get seven tries. Search desperately and maybe one day you'll get out.

They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again.

Developer's Notes:

This game is a single player text-based game that has been in development for roughly 5 months as a study in interactive storytelling.

The player, referred to only as "you," must navigate a shifting, surreal office environment with a limited number of attempts to escape where failure subtly alters the space, creating new, often non-obvious pathways for exploration. My experience emphasizes immersion through second-person perspective, iterative narrative progression, and the use of death as a storytelling mechanic.

Throughout development, I incorporated feedback to better balance player guidance and disorientation, refining how narrative changes unfold after each attempt. The design draws on theoretical concepts including environmental storytelling, procedural rhetoric, scarcity-based tension, and the subversion of linear narrative expectations to create a sustained atmosphere of psychological unease.
